An anti-ragging cell is a mandatory body, established under UGC guidelines, to prevent and address ragging incidents on campus. Its functions include creating awareness among students, maintaining vigilance through committees and squads, taking disciplinary action against offenders, and ensuring all students and parents sign an anti-ragging affidavit at admission. The ultimate goal is to create a safe, ragging-free environment for all students.
Objectives 1.To prohibit misconduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written.
2.To prohibit an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness of a fresher or any other student.
3.To prohibit students from indulging in rowdy or indiscipline activities.
