On February 20th, as part of the Women and Child Department and the NADI Foundation, the women’s cell hosted an awareness programme at MGM College of Arts and Sciences in Kaniyapuram. The primary goal of this session is to raise awareness about gender equality, women’s empowerment, and child abuse. The initiative strives to foster a culture of respect and nonviolence among women. Students were also given detailed information about various government scholarships, rules, and helpline numbers for women’s welfare. The presentation raised awareness of scholarships offered by Kerala’s Women and Child Development Department, which works to ensure the holistic, physical, psychological, cognitive, and emotional development of women and children. The defensive program by the Kerala police was really beneficial to the students.230 students and 22 faculty members actively participated in this event.
