IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a vital internal mechanism established in higher education institutions to promote, monitor, and sustain quality in every aspect of academic and administrative functioning. Created as per NAAC guidelines, the IQAC acts as the central body that ensures a systematic, consistent, and continuous improvement process within the institution. It works towards developing an integrated framework that enhances teaching–learning practices, strengthens curriculum delivery, supports faculty development, and improves student-related services. The IQAC also plays a major role in fostering research culture, encouraging innovation, promoting community engagement, and ensuring effective governance. By maintaining proper documentation, collecting feedback from stakeholders, and preparing key reports such as the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), it ensures transparency, accountability, and evidence-based decision-making. Furthermore, IQAC helps institutionalize best practices, enhances internal communication, and coordinates quality initiatives across departments. Through its sustained efforts, the IQAC contributes significantly to building a culture of excellence, improving institutional performance, and guiding the institution towards achieving higher accreditation standards and long-term academic growth.
